A FULL TIME GUIDE, one of only a few “full time” Guides in Jacksonville. He’s a shallow water light tackle specialist, a native Floridian that was born in Jacksonville and has fished these same local waters for over 50 years. Captain Vic is a 4th generation Northeast Florida Tison, a Host of WBOB AM 600 & FM 101.1’s ‘Still Just Fishing’ Radio Show each and every Saturday morning from 6:00 to 8:00 AM. He conducts “Fishing Seminars” at work sites in office buildings, Civic Centers, church groups, tackle stores, boating & marine outlets, etc. all over North East Florida and teaches techniques, lures, bait, rigs and how to catch any type of inshore saltwater species. He’s very active in fighting for angler’s rights to be able to keep fishing.
My father would say to me, “son, if you learn how to catch plenty of fish you & your family will never go hungry.” Captain Vic knows where all the sand bars, oyster beds, drop-offs, rock ledges, deep holes, feeding spots and spawning grounds are located in all the Northeast Florida waterways.
Just as the name says…
