The University of North Florida’s Public Opinion Research Laboratory found voters mixed on certain gun measures.
Even with the media blasting the NRA and talk about going after “bump stocks,” 52 % of registered Florida voters support the sales of these weapons and magazines, 42 percent would support restricting their sales.
Even 47% of Democratic voters support the sales of “assault weapons.”
Open Carry in Florida:
54 percent oppose and only 40 percent support.
69 percent of registered Democrats are opposed, but 57 percent of registered Republicans support open carry.
Concealed weapons on colleges campuses.
59 percent opposes, 37 percent in support.
